Alcohol Countermeasure Systems Penetrates New Markets Through Acquisition of Seres Ethylometre of France

TORONTO, Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ - Alcohol Countermeasure Systems Corp (ACS) has acquired the assets and intellectual property of Seres Ethylometre effective December 1, 2009. The assets include the popular 679 series and newly launched SAF'IR family of infrared breath alcohol testers.

As part of the acquisition, key employees of Seres will be redeployed within France or relocated to global ACS offices to manage the transition to the new manufacturing facility in Toronto, Canada starting January 2010. Manufacturing processes and components will remain uncompromised to retain the OIML and other product certifications that Seres has achieved.

ACS will retain the Seres brand through its French subsidiary Alcolock France to continue supporting existing customers.
